Drevas calls her workshop “The Refuge of Nature.” The informal seminar will be held at her home in Sperryville where she lives in a hand-made shelter she built on land cleared 30 years ago.
Kate Long, an awardwinning radio producer for National Public Radio and also a writing coach, will show participants in her workshop how to make a weaving from field plants and then how to write a story about the experience. Long’s workshop is called “Weaving Stories from Life Around Us.”
