The Inn At Little Washington will hpst a holiday open house tour and tea with Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan to benefit The Washington Ballet on Tuesday, Dec. 2 in Little Washington.
The Inn will unveil its newly redecorated guest rooms, kitchen, public rooms and a new accommodation called The Mayor’s House; built in 1740. The tea will take place in the colonial ballroom of the old tavern across the street, which now houses The Tnn At Little Washington’s Shops. During the tea, The Washington Ballet will perform ' vignettes from The Nutcracker and Queen Noor will autograph her recently released book, “Leap of Faith."
Proceeds will benefit Dance DC, The Washington Ballet’s flagship education program. DanceDC is an initiative between The Washington Ballet and D.C. public elementary schools which partners dance with a language arts curriculum to improve students’ reading, writing and motor skills.
Reservations are available from 1 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. and may be made by calling (540) 675-3800. Tickets are $125 per person.
