Three years ago, when I
first started running crosscounty, Wakefield Country Day School’s team consisted of three people, the minimum to qualify in the Delaney Athletic Conference. Now, our team has grown, and so has our skill.
While we are only five in number, four of us are currently freshmen and thus have three more years to improve and become the best. However, we currently lack the resources to capitalize upon that skill and allow our school to benefit from our potential.
For years the cross-county team has practiced on the Wakefield campus and Hittles Mill Road, located to the side of Wakefield. There are several obvious dangers that we
