Patton also has a painting in a four year traveling museum/university exhibition sponsored by Smith Kramer Fine Arts of Kansas City, Mo. This exhibition is currently at the Huntsville Museum in Huntsville, Ala.
Wilson has been invited to participate in the 2003 Winter Invitational Exhibition at Arcadia Gallery, New York, N.Y. This invitational exhibition presents the work of America’s foremost contemporary realist painters. Wilson also has a painting accepted into the Allied Artists of America’s 90th Annual Exhibition currently at the National Arts Club in New York.
Recently, Wilson’s life-long interest in plein air landscape painting has produced a body of work outside of his still lifes. Several of these are on view in the Holiday Group Exhibition at Long View Gallery in Sperryville.
Wilson has lived and painted in Rappahannock County since 1978.
