“It is the promise of continued growth that comes from renewal which makes this biennial reorganization of local committees so essential to the Democratic Party of Virginia,” said Gorfein. “The local committee is the backbone of the Democratic Party, and Rappahannock’s backbone has been strengthening over the last several years,” she said. “Rethinking, reenergizing, regrouping and recruiting will yield many more successes in the next two years. All are welcome to this party.”
