On Wednesday, February 18, 2004, Geraldine Clarke Gasch died at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal. She had been a resident of Loving Arms Rest Home in Front Royal since 1999. Prior to that, she resided in f Castleton. Mrs. Gasch was born on September 21, 1920 in V Washington, DC to Nettie Ma? Poole and James Clarence i Clarke. ' On May 19, 1937, she married Charles Clifford Gasch in

(Lanham, MD. Mr. Gasch founded the Castleton Volunteer Fire Department in 1956 and was a school bus driver in Rappahannock and Culpeper for many years. He died on November 5, 1981. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Clarlene (Cookie) and Dolen Romine of Casdeton and granddaughter and grandson-in-law Kathryn and Robert Crouse of Capon Bridge, WV. Also surviving is an honorary granddaughter, Deborah Knighting of Casdeton. Preceding her in death were her son, Gerald Clifford Gasch, a sister, Dallas Gumaer and a brother, Robert Earle Harbin.

?A graveside service was held before the burial in Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Bladensburg, MD on February 23, 2004. Pallbearers were dear friends and family, Jim D’Alessandro, Joe Tait, Clifton Rutherford, Dolen Romine, Tommy Gasch and Jimmy Gasch.
