“Love Actually” is an appealing, irresistible comedy with lots of solid laughs. Starring Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant, Alan Rickman, Kiera Knightley, Liam Neeson and Colin Firth, top U.K. stars, and an American major player* Laura Linney, “Love Actually” is the combination of a clever script, top-notch talent and engaging subject—love in its many forms.
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community will show the film at The Theatre on Gay Street in Little Washington, on Friday, March 19 at 8 p.m.
(RAAC apologizes for the change in film schedule. Originally scheduled for March 19 was “Mystic River.” However, with both Sean Penn winning an Oscar for Best Actor and Tim Robbins garnering one for Best Supporting Actor in “Mystic River,” the industry is withholding release of the film to small theaters for the immediate future as they continue to show it in the major theaters. RAAC will bring this film to the community as soon as it’s released on the small screen.)
