We continue to be amazed at the influence this one resident’s request has over certain members of our Board of Supervisors, an influence that apparently has erased all concept of proper thinking, fiscal responsibility and respect for the rights of residents and landowners of this county.
Our family has owned land and resided on Grimsley Road for over 30 years. The portion of the road to be paved is, almost to the foot, exactly the length of our property. We will cease to have any road frontage remain the same as a result of this decision. Once it is paved there is no going back.
March 1 was definitely a sad day for this Grimsley Road family.
