Animals
Public schools must now provide alternatives to animal dissection, including the use of detailed models and computer simulations.
Dog and cat owners who kick or harm another dog attacking their pet on their own property will be exempt from animal cruelty charges.
Child abuse
Public and private schools must display notice in every building that any employee who has reason to suspect that a child is abused or neglected is required to report such suspected cases to local or state service agencies.
