Kindergarten Jumps tart’
The Kindergarten Jumpstart Program will be held at Rappahannock County Elementary School July 12-16 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. This program is ffee to all students eligible for kindergarten this fall. Call 987-8259 to register.
Services board to meet
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board and Area Agency on Aging will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 13 at 1 p.m., at 15361 Bradford Road, Culpeper. Headwaters ’ workshops
Just 18 days are left until Headwaters' summer workshops begin, offering an exciting variety of activities ranging from mountaineering to drama, tile making to basket weaving and creative writing to dog grooming. Over 14 workshops highlight this seasons' two weeks starting July 19. Rising second graders through eighth graders are welcome. Sign up forms are available at RCHS, RCES, Wakefield, Hearthstone and Sperryville Pottery. Paid internships are available for rising ninth through twelfth graders and registration forms are available at RCHS. Persons interested in sponsoring a child are encouraged to contact Lucille Niessen at 675-3924.

Civil War Roundtable
Col. John Mosby will visit the Blue Ridge Civil War Roundtable on Tuesday, July 20 for its monthl/"meeting at the Rappahannock County Library. It is open to members and non-members who share an interest in Civil War history. Jeffrey F. Smith of King George, Va., a living history reenactor will play the part of Mosby and talk about his life and exploits.
