For that reason we took pro-active steps to safeguard Virginians by making gang activity punishable under the Virginia RICO act, which targets specific enterprises that are organized for the purpose of criminal activity.
Being able to target gangs under RICO will increase the penalties for gang activity
and involvement, and will send a strong message that gangs are not welcome in Virginia.
Domestic violence
Domestic violence is not welcome either, and has no place in the homes of the Commonwealth.
