Larry G. Bolyard has accepted a position in the Physical Education Department of Potomac State College in Keyser, West Virginia. Mr. Bolyard has been head basketball and baseball coach and taught courses in Math at Rappahannock County High School. Three Scouts of Troop #64 Washington, Va., received Eagle Scout awards at a Court of Honor held Sunday, June 28, in Washington Baptist Church at 7 p.m. They are Page Moffett, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Moffett, Jr.; David Palmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Palmer and Jimmy Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Jenkins. Mothers of each of the boys pinned their sons. Mike Stuart North, Michael Ray Williams and Rickey Lynn Williams of Chester Gap tried out the swings at Chester Gap carnival grounds on Tuesday in preparation for the opening of the carnival last night. Michael Ray was so delighted with it that he was reluctant to get out.
