Farm Fair set for July 6-10
The theme for the 2004 Culpeper-MacfisonRappahannock Farm Fair July 6-10 is "Come Share the Moments at CMR!" Many activities have been planned at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises on Route 29. Culpeper from 4-H/FFA livestock shows and pet shows to homemakers' exhibits. New this year is the llama show. Friday evening the 4-H/FFA members will have their annual livestock sale. A country auction, music, and many other family activities start at 8 a.m. Saturday followed by a BBQ dinner. The awards ceremony is on Sunday.
Democrats meet
The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee meets Tuesday. July 6 at 7:15 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library. Refreshments and conversation are from 7:15-7:45 p.m. when the general meeting begins featuring a special presentation on education policy by Joyce Abell. Open to the public.
