A memorial graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 10 at the Flint Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The ashes of both Margaret, and her husband, Charles, will be spread in Rappahannock County, as were their wishes, following the memorial service on Sept. 10.
Mrs. Wood’s brother-inlaw, Capt. John D. Wood, a native of Rappahannock and a Japanese prisoner of war, died in 1944. His remains were never recovered during World War II. He also will be memorialized during this service on Sept. 10.

Roy Rogers Weakley, 55 , of Castleton died Sept. 3 at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Va.
He was bom Oct. 30,1948 to the late Judd Phillip Weakley and to Mary Lotus Corbin Weakley.
