I recently returned from California where my daughter and I spent a good portion of the summer. It was lovely to be at the beach, connecting with old friends, enjoying the cool coastal desert weather of Santa Barbara (78 during the day, 58 at night and NO humidity), but now it feels great to be back home in Sperryville.
Looks as if we will have a busy fall season in and around Sperryville. There are many building renovations going on along the pike and in the village as well. I plan to write more in upcoming issues.
