here in Rappahannock County at the Inn at Little Washington. Mr. Claiborne, considered to be the foremost authority on Southern cooking, is a longtime friend of Inn owners Patrick O’Connell and Reinhardt Lynch.
A local subscription to the Rappahannock News in 1994 cost $19 per year.
J. Clifford Miller of Sperryville donated a new flag pole to the Rappahannock Historical Society in memory of his grandfather, John B. Miller who fought in the Civil War. Mr. Miller also donated a Virginia state flag and a Confederate flag to be flown on state holidays. The society’s old flag pole fell victim to last win^ ter’s storms.
