Sept. 10,1964 At the annual convention of the National Association of Postmasters held Aug. 23-27 in New York, Mrs. Barbara S. Gentry, Postmaster at Flint Hill, was honored with the following citation: “the National Association of Postmasters of the United States proudly awards honorable mention to Barbara S. Gentry, Editor, The Virginia Postmaster, for her publication’s outstanding journalistic qualities and for its contributions to the understanding of the postal program among postmasters in her state.”
