11, nears, we as a nation are sure to remember the men and women who gave their lives to protect our country. We honor their memory on this day, and our prayers are with the loved ones they left behind and the troops still fighting the war in the Middle East.
Don’t forget the horse-drawn carriage rides which will be given to townspeople and visitors every Friday night through the month of September from 59 p.m. The rides are offered by Linda and Art Winder, owners of Shenandoah Carriage Company LLC of Front Royal. Come on out and take a ride through historic Washington and see the beautiful sites and enjoy the fall weather.
