schedules are set for two years at a time. RCHS (Group A, Div. 1) entered varsity play in the middle of the cycle and had to accept games where they could be found, even against Group AA teams. In fact, the Panthers won’t play a full Bull Run District schedule until the 2005 season. They’ll play only two district teams this year, at Clarke County this Friday and at George Mason on Oct. 23.
Pullin said the Panthers’ Sept. 17 game against Dominion, another Group AA team, but smaller than Bassett, should be a closer matchup.
