Kappahannock Cellars located in Huntly, Virginia was awarded a total of two gold, four silver and two bronze medals at the 2005 29th Annual International Eastern Wine Competition (IEWC) in New York and the 2005 Los Angeles County Fair in California. Rappahannock's 2004 Seyval Blanc was awarded both gold and silver, while the 2002 Reserve - Cabernet Franc earned gold. Other notable Rappahannock winners were the 2004 Viognier “Reserve,” 2003 Meritage and 2003 Vidal Blanc, ah of which took silver medals.
