Long-time Rappahannock resident James Blubaugh is the Democratic candidate for the 15th District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates. The District covers Page, Rappahannock and Shenandoah Counties, plus the Swift Run precinct of Rockingham County.
A dedicated family man, Blubaugh comes from a long line of farmers. He is deeply concerned about preserving open land, clean water and air, while encouraging economic development and maintaining the rural heritage of Rappahannock County.
A reception was held by Mike and Bette Mahoney and Lois Manookian on Sunday, August 21 at the home of the Mahoney's, located on Long Mountain Road.
Mahoney's dog, Terry greeted guests as they arrived.
Everyone enjoyed refreshments as they chatted with Blubaugh and several got to meet him for the first time.
