The new fire alarm panel was installed and tested today.
Two rooms of damaged asbestos tile were removed recently by a licensed contractor with supervision by a licensed monitoring firm.
Also, spot removal of small areas of asbestos tile is being completed today, Aug. 24. Replacement tile is being installed.
Carpet damaged by rain is scheduled for replacement in several areas August 24-26.
Following the rains that twice infiltrated the building during construction, we insisted on mold testing.
An inspector notified us of the results on August 22. His testing was positive for mold on wet fiberglas pipe insulation above the kitchen.
That was removed in my presence on August 23.
The kitchen is being cleaned and will be inspected by the Health Department before we use it.
