August 24: Update
on preparations
for the opening
of school
This morning Rappahannock County Building Inspector Richie Burke gave us preliminary verbal authorization to begin occupying RCES to prepare for the opening of school Sept. 6.
The building will be open beginning Monday for ONLY employees to start preparations.
Mr. Burke will check the building again before staff comes in Monday. He will inspect again Aug. 31. We ask parents and other community members to please not come to the school until Sept. 1.
Construction workers, • RCPS custodians, and other school staff are working hard to prepare RCES for the late opening of school on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
