Thornton Gap, a “thru motorcycles only zone” meaning that after the motorcycles arrive in Luray, they can't come back over the mountain. Since US 211 is federally funded, the state and county ordinances cannot discriminate against motorcycles. The writer’s suggestion is not legal or plausible.
