from kindergarten through to high school. In fact, the last two classes of graduating seniors at Rappahannock County High School have been shown slide shows of themselves back in fifth grade, taking their DA.R.E. classes with Captain Brown.
“The whole DA.R.E. Program is not just about drugs, it's about giving kids the knowledge to make wise decisions,” explained Brown.

Brown has been very creative in implementing DAR.E. S program in the Rappahannock county school system. Ten years ago, Rappahannock County combined its field day with D.A.R.E. to create “D.A.R.E. Day” a program led by Brown that has added educational programs to the usual field day
