Out Harris Hollow, Sharon and Rick Starr and their daughter Allison were a bit surprised to have a similar visitor early Monday morning outside their home on Glendalough Lane.
Their Yorkie, Apollo, alerted them to a visitor at their back screen door, which had been open.
“A very large bear,” according to Sharon Starr, "decided that she wanted to make a snack of the sunflower seeds that were in the bird feeders on the front lawn."
The bear also checked out the cat dish on the back porch. Said Starr, “our visitor was quite unafraid and simply ignored all attempts
to lx* scared off but j she did a wonderful job of scaring the inhabitants of the house!” ‘
