“I didn’t know bears liked cat food,” she laughed. “I’m lucky I didn’t meet him in the dark.”
Across the street, and a little over the way are the Sullivan’s - John and Beverly.
“Once again, bears prove they can destroy to smithereens any bird feeder that exists,” said John Sullivan.
About a week ago, he said, they came home to one tom to shreds.
The next day, they came home and saw a bear racing away through the bushes.
“I drove 'wildly aroun^ the property trying to chase it with the car,” he said.
The bear got away. /
