The vote on Ron Frazier's proposal was defeated 4 to 1. What’s going on here? Are the supervisors afraid of doing their job? If they have no desire to truly oversee the most costly part of the county budget, amounting to approximately 65 percent of the county’s tax burden, just exactly what are they doing? Here is an accounting tool expressly provided by the state of Virginia which the supervisors can be using hut won’t. No wonder the public must remain vigilant at all times.
