formed a number with the US Air Force Band during their concert at Rappahannock Elementary School last Thursday, May 13. The group was on tour from Langley Air Force Base and presented concerts throughout the week in adjoining counties.
Sherry Hamill-Huff. Class of 1973, was inducted into the Polo Wall of Fame at Cornell University on April 24 along with three men players. Ms. Hamill-HufTs involvement with the game began her freshman year, when she discovered the Cornell Polo team after becoming disenchanted with the Equitation Program. Initially she was only a spectator, attending every Saturday night game between October and May. After graduation, Ms. Hamill-Huff worked the Polo circuit for a couple of years. She played in the first women’s games in Boca Raton, Florida and Potomac, Md.
