Two Rappahannock residents have announced they will run for one of two vacant seats on the Board of Supervisors in November.
In addition to Chris Parrish of Amissville - who announced last month that he would run for the seat to be vacated by Chairman Bob Anderson of the StonewallHawthorne District - Peter Hitchen of Woodville and Mike Biniek of Belle Meade Farm have announced they will run for the seat to be vacated by Eddie Wayland of the Piedmont District.
Monira Rifaat - who ran against Wayland two years ago and lost - has no,t yet decided if she will also run for the seat. Asked by the Rappahannock News if she intended to run, Rifaat replied, “I don’t
