Randy Hippeard, who handled the punting chores as well as starting at quarterback, just graduated.
“I love the stadium and the field,” Hogan said. “It’s good for punting and kicking. You can get really good traction on the turf they have, and it’s only three or four years old. It’s like a cushion under you.”
NAIA athletic programs, which number about 300 in the United States and Canada, are on par with NCAA Division II competition, as they offer athletic and academic scholarships to student athletes. A total of 23 national team championships are available.
