On June 26, 18 FFA boys along with 15 home economics girls will leave for the State FFA-FHA 0 summer camp at Smithfleld. They will spend one week here enjoying the usual run of camp life plus a day’s fishing trip.
On July 29, Edward Armentrout, Donald Romine, and Edwin Scroggins twill be the guests of the Seaboard Railroad for one week at a forestry training school near Farmville. These boys were selected for their accomplishments in forestry activities during the past school year.
Several other FFA boys will be busy taking care of our corn patch during the summer. Our chapter has rented five acres from Mr. John Wirtz on a share basis. The proceeds will go toward next year’s FFA activities.
Our entire chapter will have one meeting some time in August to elect officers for the coming year.

A big bingo party is to be held in Amissville on the 10th of June. This party will be held on the Amissville School lawn. The Amissville 4-H Club is sponsoring this party to make money to send 4 of their members to 4-H camp this summer. The public is in* vited. The party will start at 7:00 p.m. *
