The student council presented Prin. Link with a gift and the athletic club gave him a present as tokens of their appreciation for his assistance, so generously given.
The student council presented a check as a gift to the school, the money to be used to purchase new books for the library. The senior class grift was a check to be used to purchase two new flags for the school.
The salutatory was delivered by Miss Lucy Mae Smith and the valedictory by Miss Gladys Reid.

Miss Joan Kelly Aylor presented the salutatory and Miss Jean Brown the valedictory at Sperryville Commencement Exercises on Wednesday evening in the school audition.
With George Butler, class president, presiding, the seniors grave a program featuring the history of Sperryville school. The contents of the historical program appear on page 3, along with several photos of Sperryville school history.
Professor H. B. Winfrey prefaced his remarks with a warning .that now that he would not be at the school next year, he was going to tell them a few things he would be afraid to say if he were coming back again. Supt. Q. D. Gasque presented the diplomas, and music of the occasion, . was furnished by a sextette and * Mrs. Kathryn Wood Cahen sang a solo.
