The activities of our principal and his wife have not been entirely confined to the school. They have been extremely active in county affairs. Mr. Link has taught Sunday school classes and coached the town basketball teams. Mrs. Link has participated in church work and community socials. During their years here, they have both worked for the betterment of Rappahannnock county.
Mr. and Mrs. Link have given eight years of their life toward educating-the-yoath of-this-part of the county. • Through these years, they have been meeting the needs and coping with the problems of hundreds of students. They can leave with the satisfaction of knowing that they have done a grand job in serving the people of the county.

James Dulin and John Kelly of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. M. H. Warren of Culpeper were the guests Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cary and attended the g. iiuation of their daughter, Miss Jo Ellen Worth at Washington High School.
Mrs. Evelena Huff *and daughter, Wanda, Mrs. Catherine Hederick, and Mrs. Jewell McMakan of Front Royal, and Mr. and Mrs. Irving Sisk and»daughtre, Mildred, were guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Grandstaff at Luray, where they attended a shower given in honor of their daughter, Catherine.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Trescott of Rochester, N. Y., spent Monday with Mrs. Harry Trescott in the home of her mother, Mrs. J R. Cooper. *
