Charlie Rudasill of Washtington, D. C., was an over-night guest of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Johnson Thursday night.

Mrs. “Dike” Quaintance, little Johnny Quaintance, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Quaintance of Winchester, Mrs. Raymond Johnson and Misses Carolyn Jenkins and Mattie Rector were Culpeper visitors Saturday. _Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. B. M. Varner, and Mrs. Pauline Bruce spent Saturday shopping in Wash, ington, D. C. Mr. Schaefer, who went with them, attended thp Boston Red Sox-Washington baseball game.

Mrs. W. H. Sill of Arlington, spent the week end with Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson, on Sunday other mentbers of her family who came for Sunday dinner were Mr. W. H. Sill and Lewis Carder, she returned home with them in the afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Smith of, Takoma Park, Md., were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ggy Burke.

Russell and Nelson Revercomb of Arlington, spent the week end at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Revercomb.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fleshman of Washington, D. C., were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Revercomb. Mrs. Cecil Revercomb of Front Royal was a guest for several days this week at the Revercomb home.

Mrs. T. E. Hudson, who has been spending some time with relatives in Washington, D. C., returned Monday to the home of Miss Louise O'Bannon.

Mrs. Mary Thornhill of Glasgow was a week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown. Dinner guests Saturday evening at “Rock Villa” were Rev. and Mrs. A. Paul Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton and their son, P. Lee Thornton III.

Mr. and Mrs. John W. Paulson and son of Hampton, who spent the week end at the home of Mrs. Paulson’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell, left Monday for Minneapolis, where they will visit Mr. Paulso-'s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Paulson for two weeks. They were accompanied to Washington, D C., by Mr. and Mrs. Campbell.
