Vacation Bible School
Begins Next Weds
A union daily vacation Bible school conducted by the Washington, Baptist, Mebhodiat, and Episcopal churches -will be held at the Washington High School, beginning Monday, June 5, and continuing through Friday, June 9, from 3 to 12 a.m.
A picnic will be held on Friday afternoon at the conclusion of the school.
Members of the faculty are: principal, Rev. M. E. Sliger; music director, Mrs. R.‘M. Menefee; superintendent of beginners’ elass, Miss Mary Jenkins, who Will be assisted by Miss Lucy Mae Smith, Miss Gladys Reid, and Miss Jo Ellen Worth; primary department, Mrs. L- J. Turner; junior class, Miss Mary Miller Wood; inters mediates, Mrs. C. G. Reid; E. S. Wagner will have charge of the handicrafts. Other helpers will be Mrs. G. L. Updike, Mrs. J. Frank Joneh and Mrs. D. D. Miller.
Members of all church denominations are cordially invited to attend. » a

Opens For Business
E. M. Richards has announced the opening of Richards Motor Company, located at the Rappahannock Service Station at Flat Woods, Route 211, 2 miles west of Washington, across the highway from the Washington Fruit Growers Co-operative.
The new licensed dealership will be in used cars, bought and sold. Richards Motor Company has. on hand at present some Fords, Cbevrolets, Plymouths, and Pontiacs. Mr. Richards invites inspection, of these cars and states he Will Welcome visitors.
E. M. Richards has been located at the Rappahannock Service Station for eight years and has had wide experience in auto repair.
