Auxiliary Meeting

ATTEND MEETING IN STAUNTON WEDNESDAY
Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., attended a horticulture meeting in Staunton Wednesday, they were accompanied to Harrisonburg by Mrs. J. Frank Jones, who visited Mrs. 0. J. Turner.
RETURNS FROM HOSPITAL
Dr. J. P. Snead of Sperryville, who has been sick for the past six weeks, was in Charlottesville Tuesday for a general check-up.
Dr. Snead is holding office hours, but is unable to go on calls outside the office.
Reserve Unit Organizing
A Volunteer Air Reserve Training Unit for this section of the state is being organised in Culpeper. The purpose of the organization is to enable Air Reservists to keep up with the present day Air Force, earn credits for promotion and for active duty training tours, and to build up points for retirement at age 60.
The training unit is open not only to officer and enlisted Air Reservists but to those of other branches of the service.
An organisational meeting is being held in the auditorium of the Culpeper Municipal building at 8 o’clock tomorrow evening, June 2. A combat film from World War II will be shown during the evening.
