The Arts and Crafts Show to be staged at the Rappahannock Library in Washington and open to the public eacl day from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m, from Wednesday, October 2f through NJonday, November S Tias met with widespread interest. Objects already offered to be exhibited include a widely varied group of paintings, sketches, rugs, quilts, ceramics, jewelry, crocheting, dolls, woodwork, carving and many more. This show is being opened to the public by the Rappahannock Arts and Crafts Project as a public service with the idea that renewed interest in crafts as a hobby, or supple mentary income would enrich our culture, offer diversion and creative occupation to retired persons or others, encourage our young to develop their talents and to use their hands, and to give recognition to the many fine craftsmen in our County.
