Voting Nears
The approaching election of ASC community committees for farm program administration in Rappahannock County was announced today by H. S. Barksdale, Chairman, Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Couh’ty Committee. Voting will be by mail, the Chairman explained. Ballots were mailed from the ASCS office to each known eligible voter on Sept. 30, 1964. Eligible voters who have not received a ballot through the mail should contact the Rap. pahannock ASCS office immediately. Generally, a farm owner, tenant, or sharecropper is eligible to vote if he is taking part or is eligible to take part in one or more of the ASCS programs. Envelopes containing marked ballots should be maii ed or returned to the ASCS County office, Washington, anytime before Oct. 15. Mailed ballots must be post marked by midnight Oct. 15 to be counted. Ballots will be tabulated publicly by the county committee in the ASCS office, Oct. 16, 1964. Following are the nominees for ASC community committees:
