Are Reported
An Arlington man was injured in a traffic accident about 8;30 p.m. Friday night 0.3 of a mile from Washington on Route 211. Lee Roy Grimmett lost control of his 56 Chevrolet, ran off the right shoulder of the road and struck a bridge abut ment. Grimmett sustained multiple lacerations of the face, a broken right anklq concussion, multiple abra sions of the arms, legs and face. He was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Roy al by Rappahannock Rescue Squad. The vehicle was a total loss.
Mrs. Sarah Latham of Amiss ville6truck and killed an angus .cow last Wednesday night on Route 211 near Ben Venue. She was traveling east on the highway when the animal ran across the road as she rounded a curve. Mrs. Latham sustained minor bruises. The 63 Chevrolet which she was operating, was owned by Green Publishing Company, Orange, Va. and damage was estimated at $400 or $500. The cow, owned by T. L. Eastham, was valued at $200. Trooper R. W. Mitchell invest! gated the accident. A two-vehicle collision occurred yesterday morning or Rt. 522 at Woodville. *>
