The Rappahannock County! Home Demonstration Clubs will hold their Achievement Day in the Parish Hall in Washington, Saturday, November 14, beginning at 2:30 p.m. according to Mrs. F. Li Bowey chairman, of Amlssville. Speaker for the program will be Mrs. George Davis, Jr., who will describe “Our Heritage in Rappahannock*. Mrs. Davis has made an extensive study on this subject and will bring an exciting message. Each club in the county will have an exhibit in relation to its work during the past year. There will be a white elephant and silent auction sale, and gifts, baked goods and candy will be sold. Refreshments will be served at the close of the program. The public is cordially invited and urged to attend. All women in the county who are not members of local clubs are especially invited to come Out of town guests will be Mrs. E. D. Hopkins, District VIII chairman of Remington and Miss Eva Minix, District home agent.
