John S. Hill of Culpeper has been named an agriculture field assistant for the 1964 Census of Agriculture, the Bureau of the Census of the U. S. Department of Commerce announced today. The new field assistant is one of 116 persons throughout the U. S. to receive thi$ appointment. The new appointee will supe* vise a team of census crew leaders and enumerators in 37 counties of Virginia during the agricultural census in November and early December. The agriculture field assistant is a supervisor in a Census of Agriculture. He is responsible for recruiting enough crew leaders in his district to organize an enumerator corps for the census.
