What is a Fallout? Fall out is one of many hazards man faces in his daily life. Some are beyond his control..others are the result of his own making. But, if he understands them, he grows accustomed to accepting their results. Some of the other hazards are explosives, fires, traffic, floods, hurricanes, disasters and minor accidents. Fallout is one result of a nuclear explosion. It consists of particles contaminated with radio active materials. Heavy fallout will be found near the point of explosion. Lighter fallout will be carried by prevailing winds as far as 500 miles in about 24 miles. You CAN SURVIVE in a fall area.
