Other new officers elected for 1965-66 were Mrs. Denton Dixon of Madison, president; Mrs. Sherwood Jones, vice president; Mrs. Ruth Slusher, Prince William, treasurer. Ruritans Contribute To Cancer Crusade
The regular meeting of Amissville Ruritan Club was held April 21 with 26 members present. The group voted to contribute $13 to the annual Cancer Crusade and to give $25 to a needy family to help with pay: ment of a hospital bill. A committee was appointed to investigate the possibility of getting a doctor to locate in this county. Guest speaker for the meeting was Dr. J. R. Boldridge. In addition to the contribution by the Ruritan Club to the Cancer Crusade, proceeds of the dinner for that meeting which was served by Amissville H. D. Club, were also given to the Crusade campaign
