Doffermyre and the late Mary Frances Settle Doffermyre, |Mrs. Smith was a member of Amissville Baptist Church Where she taught Sunday school for many years and was also a member of the church choir and Women’s Missionary Union. ; Besides her husband she is Survived by one son, Charles Andrew Smith of Herndon; three daughters, Mrs. Robert E. Schurtz of Springfield, Mrs. Hammond L.' Clark of Oakton, and Mrs. Floyd B. Hitt of Amissville, and eight grandchildren. Also three sisters, Mrs. Harry Settle of Falls Church, Mrs. Willie Lucas of Culpeper and Mrs. Bush Mills of Viewtown; and two brother^ Harry Doffermyre of Dayton, Ohio and Bryant Doffermyre of Falls Church. A funeral service was held Tuesday at 2;00 p.m. at Amiss. Ville Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Charles Kindred with interment in the church cemetery. • Pallbearers were Elliott Doyle, Ralph Rowzie, Landern Ij,uttrell, Silas O’Bannon, Silas Martin, George Kidwell, “William Bywaters and Everett Stover. > Funeral arrangements were .made by Geest Funeral Parlors.
