Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman accompanied their son and daughter-in-law Mr. andMrs. D. V. Chapman, Jr. of Richmond to Falls Church Sunday to see Mrs. Elizabeth Sealock Palmer. Mrs. Palmer's mother Mrs. W. W. Sealock died Thursday, April 22 at a local hospital after a month’s illness.
Mrs. Perle Coffey returned to her home here Friday night after a week’s visit in Richmond with her nephew James Nelson Rector and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Coffey had as guests over the weekend Mrs. Raymond Rector of Marshall, James Nelson Rector of Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Rector and daughter, Donna of Winchester and Miss Raye Rector of Flint Hfil. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor had as guests for the weekend their son and daughter Buddy Aylor and Miss Joan Aylor of Arlington. Also during the week their daughter, Mrs. Tommie Cozzo of Arlington visited them. Other weekend guests were Joe Henry Aylor and his son Joe, also of Arlington. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Lowery of Winchester. Mrs. Joe Henry Aylor and daughters Ann Yates and Joyce Aylor spent the weekend at the Lee Highway Hotel with her mother, Mrs. Della Howard. Mr. and Mrs. J. W, Coates and daughters returned home Saturday from a vacation trip to Florida. Jimmie Wayland and his two sons Larry and Jimmie, Jr. of Alexandria were guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. J. Earle Wayland. Dinner guests on Monday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Wayland were Mrs. Maury Brown, Mrs. E. W. Gore, Mrs. Helen Bruce and her two grandchildren Bruce Smith and Donna Osborne. Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Devers and children of Front Royal were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Wayland and two sons.
