Wake of Saluda and their son “Chappie” Wake were guestfc on Easter Monday of Mrs. Wake's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David V. Chapman, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown and daughter of Richmond were guests several days last week of Mrs. C. E. Brown. Mrs. T. J. Pillar has returned to her home after a visit with relatives in Norfolk. Her guests for the weekend were her sister, Mrs. W. H. Cordle and sons David and Louis Cordle of Norfolk. Daniel Clark Clater, son of Mrs. Jessie Clater, has just completed three years of duty in the U. S. Army, 26 months of which was spent in Bamberg Germany attached to theMedical Corps.
