Mrs. Lanell Wilbur and daughter Norma Lee and Mrs Iris Brooke spent Saturday in Washington, D.C. The Rev. and Mrs. Dott Bryan and son Kyle of Novum were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Thorn hill. Mrs. Winifred Mottes and brother Bill Perkins of Silver Spring, Md. were weekend visitors of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tidier. Andy Lewis of Alexandria was an overnight guest of the Tidiers on Saturday. Sunday guests of the Tidlers were Mr and Mrs. Robert Scott and daughter of Alexandria. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Dorsey accompanied their son Edward to New Market Monday where he resumed his studies at Shen andoah Valley Academy after spending spring vacation with his parents. Mrs. Charles Thornhill entered the University of Virginia Hospital Wednesday morning. Mrs. Jane Cave returned to her home Monday after spend ing some time with her daugh ter Mrs. Ned F.llerbe andfami; ly in Columbus, Ga. Mrs. William Morian of Washington, D. C., arrived April 21 to spend a few weeks with her mother Mrs. Charles Thornhill and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Thornhill.
C. J. Ireland was in Herkimer, N Y. from Wednesday until Saturday to attend the New York State Foxhunters Association Spring Show and Field Trials. The Irelands will enter a dog in the bench show at Bassetts on Saturday.
