The engagement has been announced of Miss Betty Lee Glascock to John Garland Russell, III. Miss Glascock is the daughter of Mrs. Julian Carper Glascock of Soldier’s Retreat, near Summit Point, West Virginia and the late Mr. Glascock. Mr. Russell is the son of Mrs. Thelma Dennis Russell of Flint Hill, Virginia and the late Mr. John Garland Russell, Jr. Miss Glascock attended Greenbrier College of Lewisburg, West Virginia and after graduating from the High School Division of the college, she completed one year of liberal arts. She is currently a student nurse at Shenandoah College of Winchester, Va. Mr. Russell is a 1962 graduate of Rappahannock High School and in 1964 received his A. S. degree from Shenandoah College. He is presently workirtg on his B. S. degree at
of Harrisonburg, Virginia. No date has been set for the wedding.
