Robert Elwood Jenkins, 78, of Washington died April 27, 1965 at Fauquier Hospital, i Warrenton. I A native of Rappahannock

I County, he was a son of the

j late Henry Jenkins and Eliza jbeth Burke Jenkins. He was a retired farmer and had lived on the Joe D. Keyser farm for the past 17 years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Burke Jenkins; five sons, James A. of Barboursville, Rufus D. and Robert H. of Washington, Va., Wade E. of Fredericksburg and Boot Jenkins of Brandy Station; four daughters, Mrs. Clinton Jenkins, Washington, Mrs. Lester Curtis,Remington, Mrs. Ed ward Hannah, Fredericksburg, Mrs. Willie Jenkins, Sperryville; 25 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. from the Geest Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Mrs. Ethel E. Harrington will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. Pallbearers are nephews, George B. Jenkins, Charles A. Jenkins, George R. Jenkins, Lester E. Curtis, Jr., James W. Jenkins, Richard L. Menefee, Robert H. Jenkins, Jr. and Jesse D. Lutz.

Mrs. Clifton Clarke has been notified of the death of her uncle Mr. Charlie Kibler on April 22 in Washington Boro, Penn. Funeral services were held there on the 26th. Richard Thompson of Arlington was a guest of the Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson on Sunday evening. John Quaintance of Arlington was the guest last weekend of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood. .Mrs. Charlie Burke took Mr. ffiarlce to efikrfottesi^lle Mon-* day to the University Hospital.

Mrs. Dewey Jenkins, Miss Frances Jenkins, and Miss Barbara Jenkins were Sunday guests of Miss Virginia Settle. Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Patterson were among those attending the Valley Convocation supper and Vieeting at Calvary Episcopal Church Sundayevejning in Front Royal.
